Tom Li (李振涛)


Li Zhentao (Tom Li)  is a renowned soloist of the China National Opera and Dance Theater, known for his powerful tenor vocals. He holds the esteemed title of a national first-class actor.
Throughout his career, Li Zhentao has received numerous accolades. In 2004, he achieved the Silver Award in the 11th CCTV Young Singer Grand Prix's Bel Canto Group category. The following year, he won the prestigious "Wenhua Award" at the National Vocal Competition. His talent was further recognized in 2005 when he received the Tenor Special Award at the 21st Mantua International Vocal Competition in Italy.In 2012, Li Zhentao was honored with the title of "Excellent Actor" by the Ministry of Culture. The following year, he achieved third place in the singing competition of the Asian Pop Music Festival, showcasing his exceptional vocal abilities.Li Zhentao has performed leading roles in various operas, including "The Wilderness," "Enchantment," "La Traviata," and "Red River Valley." He has also graced the stage of numerous large-scale theatrical performances.
His flawless performances have been showcased at renowned international music festivals such as the Beijing Modern Music Festival, Spanish International Music Festival, French National Day Gala, and Italian Opera Festival. Notably, the late Italian vocal master, Bergonzi, praised Li Zhentao's voice as "so beautiful that he can become a world-class tenor," a testament to his remarkable talent and skill.
