Calling all Gen Z individuals! During the summer of 2023, an extraordinary opportunity awaits you. Take a break from the constant barrage of distractions and overwhelming stress emanating from your electronic devices, and indulge in a two-day screen-free vacation. Within this brief timeframe, you'll reacquaint yourself with the awe-inspiring real world that exists beyond the confines of the virtual realm. These two days will bestow upon you a sense of revitalization and replenishment, unlike anything you've experienced in a considerable span of time. The possibilities for activities during this period are endless! You can enjoy quality time with friends, savor a meal with a companion, explore your neighborhood on a bike, engage in sports, visit a park, embark on a hike, spend cherished moments with your elders, and so much more. Bid farewell to the blocks and pixels of Minecraft as you embark on a genuine real-life adventure, brimming with unbridled creativity and uncharted prospects. Moreover, by participating in this remarkable 48-hour challenge, you can earn rewards along the way. These include volunteer hours equivalent to 48 hours and the chance to win credit or cash prizes for your essay submissions. Consider applying and immerse yourself in an experience that will bring you peace of mind, allowing you to reconnect with the genuine relationships and people in your immediate surroundings.Our 48-hour Challenge aims to motivate teenagers to engage in life without their electronic devices such as phones, tablets, TVs, and computers. Once you have completed it, we kindly request that you share your reflections through a brief essay and complete a questionnaire.

Entry Instructions

1. Successfully complete the consecutive 48-Hour No Screen Challenge, abstaining from using phones, tablets, TVs, video games, and computers.
2. Provide your personal information and complete the online questionnaire.
3. Share your experience by writing a concise essay and submit it through our online submission portal.
4. Attach a PDF file of your school's Community Service form, which we will complete and sign.
5. Await our response for a potential essay-writing award.
